During his time as a sales representative serving Michigan, founder Adam Garr realized a common theme during his visits. Record-level golf rounds and a new crop of players found the game after 2020, and courses were struggling to keep up with all that play. Divots, ball marks, cart traffic, practice areas, and bunkers fell victim to overuse and poor etiquette practices. Golf course superintendents were stressed out, understaffed, and overburdened with how popular golf had become. Members were demanding improved and regular communications from club managers.

Adam left sales in 2023 to pursue a vision--providing golf courses with the communication tools needed to take some of the burden off the maintenance staff. Course Cares specializes in producing high-quality videos aimed at documenting projects and events, educating golfers about course etiquette practices, assisting with the hiring process, informing members about necessary agronomic processes, and much much more!

Adam is an active GCSAA Class A golf course superintendent and a former territory manager for Syngenta Professional Solutions. Adam is the recipient of multiple industry accolades for communication including Syngenta's "Faces of a Super" promotion, and awards for Best Blog and Best Multimedia. Adam specializes in producing original content for the turfgrass management industry. Course Cares is dedicated to innovating, advising, and creating specialized communications for the golf course superintendent.
